After back-to-back standout runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2024 & 2025) and a critically acclaimed 2023 Off-Broadway run at Soho Playhouse with SOUTH, award-winning writer and performer Florencia Iriondo returns to New York with Song Society — an intimate, one-person folk-pop musical about memory, home, family folklore, and the stories that make us whole.
Blending original music with sharp, vulnerable storytelling, Song Society lives somewhere between theater, truth, and an overthought decision.
Set in an analog world of 90s artifacts and a slightly eccentric machine that may or may not literally erase what’s completed its run, the show becomes an anthology of choices — about love, friendship, and purpose — that somehow shape us before we even realize we’re making them.
Shortlisted for Best Edinburgh Fringe Show by the West End Wilma Awards, Song Society is a heart-forward, nostalgic exploration of how we edit, remember, and ultimately compose our own lives.
